Definitive oxygen-enhanced MRI in cancer publication
15 Feb 2016
A new journal publication demonstrating how dynamic OE-MRI can be used to identify tumour hypoxia has been published by Bioxydyn collaborators at the University of Manchester. The publication, which graces the front cover of the latest issue of Cancer Research, shows that OE-MRI in combination with DCE-MRI resolves hypoxic regions of tumours non-invasively. An accompanying editorial argues that OE-MRI may have significant advantages of other imaging methods for quantifying hypoxia.
